2014 Endorsements for John Cavaletto**
Representative Cavaletto, has been endorsed for re-election "on behalf of Illinois retailing" by the Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA) through its Illinois Merchants Political Action Team (IMPACT). Founded in 1957, IRMA represents more than 23,000 retail stores in Illinois of varying sizes and specialties and is one of the largest state retail organizations in the United States. IRMA’s government relations efforts have resulted in both the passage and defeat of significant bills and IRMA helps retailers stay abreast of State and local laws, regulations and critical issues directly impacting the bottom line of their businesses.
2014 Endorsements for John Cavaletto**
Rep. John Cavaletto of the 107th District in the Illinois House has be endorsed for re-election in 2014 by A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois, Inc. The mission of A.B.A.T.E. is to preserve the universal right to a safe, unrestricted motorcycling environment, and to protect and conserve the natural resources of the State of Illinois, and to ensure through professional management that sustainable use, recreational opportunities and enjoyment of these resources is available for this and future generations.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) through the affiliate local organization Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) has endorsed John Cavaletto for re-election to the Illinois General Assembly in 2014. John is an avid pheasant hunter and has wonderful bird dog named Burrell. Representative Cavaletto was a leader in fighting for a concealed carry law in Illinois and fought for a paper application option for citizens who do not use computers. John and his wife, Connie, have booth taken and passed the Concealed Carry Training.
The National Federation of Independent Business-Illinois (NFIB) known as “The Voice of Small Business,” has awarded Representative Cavaletto the “Guardian of Small Business Award” for 2013-2014. “NFIB is proud to let small businesses in the 107th district know that they have a great advocate in State. Rep. John Cavaletto,” said Kim Clarke Maisch, NFIB/IL State Director. “Small business owners get a lot of lip service from politicians but the truth is in how they vote and Rep. Cavaletto has proven he stands for Main Street.” NFIB has over 11,000 small business members in Illinois.
AFSCME People (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) recommends Cavaletto for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives in the 107th District. AFSCME represents a variety of workers throughout the 107th district is public service positions like at Murray Center, and the Centralia and Vandalia correctional facilities.
Congratulations! You have received the endorsement of the Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois for the November 4, 2014 General Election for Representative in the 107th District. The AFFI represents over 15,000 professional firefighters across the state. Your support of issues affecting professional firefighters in Illinois earned you this endorsement.
